Breast Explant Case #5420

62 year old patient who had breast implants and breast lift more than fifteen years ago. The implants were subpectoral and were displaced high on her chest and had developed Grade III capsular contracture at both breasts with an intracapsular rupture of her right breast silicone implant that was evidenced on breast MRI. The post operative photos are six months post total capsulectomy (removal of the breast capsules in toto) and the underlying breast implants with a Wise pattern breast lift. She also requested liposuction to her axillary breast rolls. The post operative photo shows a more natural appearing and uplifted breasts that are proportional to her body.
