Breast Revision Case #4977

30 year old patient who had had breast augmentation with 510cc silicone gel implants in the subglandular position via a supra-areolar incision ten years prior with another surgeon. She had developed severe, Grade IV capsular contracture with suspected implant rupture. She underwent a total capsulectomy due to the thickened breast capsules (worse at her left than at her right) and removal of her ruptured silicone implants and same time placement of new 421cc Moderate Profile silicone gel implants in the dual plane / sub pectoral position with a peri areolar vertical and short scar horizontal breast lift to achieve the final 36 full D cup soft and natural appearing breasts that she desired.
