Breast Reconstruction Procedures Case #5751
Before
After

A 38-year-old patient with multifocal, retroareolar ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) underwent bilateral skin-sparing mastectomy, as nipple preservation was not possible. She underwent staged breast reconstruction with tissue expanders and acellular dermal matrix (ADM) support at the time of her mastectomy. The photos shown are six months after her second stage—exchange of the expanders for 505 cc smooth, round silicone gel implants—she achieved her desired full 36C-cup result.
